Yes, you can definitely do that. There are two ways of creating a new project for the freelancer that you have already worked with:
1. You can create a project by following the same process of clicking on the "Request a Service" button and once the project is successfully posted, you will land on the recommendations page for making invites. Over here, you will be able to find the "My Hires" tab on the top of the page which will list all the freelancers that you have awarded projects to and can click on the invite button to invite any specific freelancer for the project.
2. You can directly visit the freelancers profile by going to the "My Hires" section on the "Find an Expert" page and create a new project with that specific freelancer.
