What is Kolabtree?
Kolabtree is a platform for clients and freelancers to collaborate and work together to complete client’s needs. Our freelancers consist of highly qualified researchers and scientists from all over the world.

Zoom’s role in Kolabtree
Kolabtree now supports both clients and freelancers to collaborate via Zoom calls (audio & video) to discuss their requirements and answer freelancers queries. So by following the below mentioned steps clients with active projects with at least one active bid from a freelancer can use the “schedule a call” mechanism using Zoom for collaboration.

  • Installation

    • Inside schedule a call section select Zoom as channel and click on Add to Zoom

    • Sign Up or log in to your Zoom account.

    • For Sign up, Zoom will ask for email verification

    • Go to your inbox and click on verify email address links sent by Zoom.

    • Come back to schedule a call and now on clicking schedule, a Zoom URL for the requested meeting will be created and shared with the recipients.

  • Usage

    • Feature Name - Schedule a call via Zoom channel

      • Prerequisites:

        • At Least one active project on Kolabtree.

        • Which should have at least one active freelancer’s bid/proposal.

      • For First time users:

        • Go to Schedule a call from Proposal page or Workspace page. 
          (Links available in left side hamburger menu)

        • Go to channel option and select Zoom

        • Click on “add to Zoom” icon for one time LogIn/SignUp with Zoom on Kolabtree

        • For sign up users will also need to verify their email ID via Zoom email verification link sent to them from Zoom.

        • After successful signup or login users will be able to schedule a meet via Zoom and on clicking the Schedule button, Zoom meeting URL is generated and shared with the recipients.
          (via email, msg and calendar invite)

      • For already signed in users:

        • Go to Schedule a call from Proposal page or Workspace page. 
          (Links available in left side hamburger menu)

        • Go to channel option and select Zoom

        • Click on Schedule button post entering meeting title date etc.

        • Zoom meeting URL is created and shared with the recipients.

      • Steps to unlink your Zoom account:

        • Post successful linking Zoom, “Add to Zoom” icon will change to “De- Zoom” icon.

        • By clicking on this you can un-link your Zoom account.

    • Troubleshooting

      • Post clicking “add to Zoom” nothing happens
        - To resolve this please check your browser might be blocking the pop up, most of the browsers show on the URL that the pop up is blocked and on clicking them please click on allow to enable popups for Kolabtree. Sometimes even ad blocker plugins can block pop ups please disable them in-case you are using one.

      • After sign up still not able to schedule a call via Zoom
        - Make sure your email verification via Zoom is successful if you have done a new sign up only post email verification zoom URL meeting links can be generated.

    • Contact Support
